Security Model

Both products use a zero-knowledge design intended to keep vault contents unreadable to the provider. That does not eliminate risk. Weak master passwords, malicious browser extensions, stolen sessions and exposed recovery methods can bypass otherwise strong encryption. Use a unique, long master passphrase and phishing-resistant MFA.

Migration Safety

Exports are commonly unencrypted CSV files. Complete the move on a trusted, patched computer; import immediately; verify a sample of records; then securely remove the export and empty synced recycle bins. Rotate the most sensitive credentials after migration.
